1. Description of service
XPLT is a security assessment and penetration testing management platform that allows authorized security professionals to organize projects, manage assets, document findings, store evidence, write notes, and generate reports. XPLT is intended solely for use in authorized security engagements, bug bounty programs, and professional security research.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use XPLT. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use XPLT only for lawful purposes and only in connection with security assessments for which you have explicit written authorization. You agree not to:
- use the app to conduct unauthorized access to any system, network, or device;
- use the app in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app;
- use the app to store, transmit, or facilitate any unlawful, harmful, or malicious content;
- share your account credentials with any third party; or
- attempt to circumvent any subscription or access control in the app.
4. Account registration
To use XPLT, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. Subscription plans
XPLT offers both free and paid subscription tiers:
- Free Plan: limited to 2 active projects. The report generator and third-party integrations are not available on the free plan.
- XPLT Pro — Monthly & Yearly: includes unlimited projects, access to the PDF report generator, and all third-party integrations.
Paid subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe for web purchases. You may cancel at any time through your respective store account settings or by contacting [email protected].
Subscription pricing is displayed in the app prior to purchase. All purchases are final except as required by applicable law or store refund policies. Aspect IT, LLC does not process refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases. Refund requests for those purchases must be submitted to Apple or Google, respectively.
6. Auto-renewal disclosure
XPLT Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store, Google Play, or Stripe account settings.
7. Data and privacy
All user data, including projects, assets, findings, evidence, and notes, is stored exclusively in Supabase, a third-party backend platform. No user content is stored on servers owned or operated directly by Aspect IT, LLC. Your use of XPLT is also subject to our App Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with XPLT are the property of Aspect IT, LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without our prior written consent.
9. Third-party services
XPLT integrates with third-party services including, but not limited to, Hack The Box, HackerOne, Bugcrowd, Shodan, VirusTotal, AlienVault OTX, and Burp Suite. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Aspect IT, LLC is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
XPLT is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aspect IT, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use XPLT, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from within the app settings.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of XPLT after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app or by email.
